Peru Mission (2024)

We were absolutely thrilled when the day finally came to return to El Chino Village, the place that catalyzed the creation of KIFF. The main aim of our mission was to bring soccer equipment and other resources to the remote village, so we brought jersey sets for all the school children!

The day before we handed out the jerseys and school supplies, however, we worked with the community on their project to paint both schoolhouses. The young kids were more than happy to help!

The highlight of the mission was the community soccer games after distributing jerseys. The kids were beyond excited about their new uniforms... and even more excited to show us their skills!

In partnership with our wonderful friends at Angels of the Amazon Foundation, we were also able to supply the kids with their school materials for the following academic year.

Between seeing some familiar faces and some new ones, we established strong bonds with all the people of El Chino. Over the three days of the mission, we spent countless hours playing tag, running races, and teaching the kids English words.

Beautiful moments like these are exactly why KIFF exists. The friendships and memories we all made are irreplacable.
