Costa Rica Mission (2023)

Thanks to the overwhelming support from our wonderful community, we were able to collect over eighty pounds of school supplies - markers, crayons, pencils, paper, scissors, colored pencils, erasers, pens, pencil sharpeners, geometry sets, and glue sticks - to bring to a school outside of La Fortuna, Costa Rica!

Our team mixed concrete, transported materials, leveled a sloped surface, dug up roots, and painted the walls of a nearby building.

We spent the first day of the mission getting to know the kids - we played games, practiced English, and learned a native dance.

The next few days of the mission were dedicated to assisting the community in constructing a new schoolhouse. 

We finally poured the cement into the freshly leveled ground to lay the foundation for the structure.
